hi I put 12R's on my 02magna but later I found out they are alot more expensive than 315's so if 315's will fit that would be the way to go. Just my.02 295's will gear you slower ie more RPM for a given MPH................ good luck Bob 02magna 6028

At the time I bought my Continentals in the fall of 2012 Michelin XZE 12 r cost as much if not more than my 315 Continentals and they were in stock. I would have had to wait close to 10 days, if I was lucky, for the Michelins to come from back east. TWI 2004 intrigue 11731.

Robert, How is it that 315's cost less than 12R 22.'s? 315 are larger and more expensive.

I think answers crossed since as you state both fet probably different but not that much. Bigger cause could be shear volume of a given size being sold. 12r is a common truck size and therefore more are sold. This is a common problem for specialty vehicles, rv's trailers and motorcycles, many sizes at low volume.
