Both of our Powergear slides won't retract today. Were working fine last night.
We are getting power to the motors.
Anyone know where the slide limit switch aka relay switch is located? and how difficult to replace? We replaced all fuses for the slide.
Battery fully charged.
We manually put the slides in in case we have to take it to a service location.
We are currently in Sevierville TN.

Diane and Lonny,
So sorry we don't know the answers, but please know we have sympathy for you and great hope for a very quick resolution to this!!! What a relief it is to know you CAN get the slides back IN, however.

Lonny,
The problem could be with the park brake switch. The park brake switch completes the ground circuit so the slides can operate. This is a safety issue to prevent slide operation without the park brake being engaged. The park brake switch on my coach is located near the generator set at the front of the coach. Check your owners manual to locate the switch. You will need to replace the switch or run a manual ground wire through a simple "off - on" switch. Give me a call if you want more information.

I have Allure 31104, 2 powerGear slides, and in the back curb bay (on mine) there are four relays, one for retracting, one for extending, so two each slide. You may want to test/replace these.
The Bosch part number for all four relays (they are interchangeable) is 0332209161 but it is available from Napa as well. From Country Coach's Greg, the NAPA part number is ECHAR143, a generic 30 amp relay with a bracket. It is used in a lot of places in the coach. (Hydro Hot for example.)
There are also recyclable fuses you may want to check.
Both my slides failed within one week of each other and the relays were the culprit. I could hear the click of the relay but no slide movement. They are easy to swap out.
Hope this helps.
