You got it right, when the ride height value goes south the coach will settle down on the tire. You can pull the fuse after you have raised it up to keep it from rubbing the tire to limp home, but I have several friends that have had values go south and the coach slowly leaked down onto the tire and cut the tire before they knew what was going on.
