Title: Back-up camera

Recently I began experiencing (while driving) occasional shifts in screen image from directly behind the coach to the left side (as though I engaged the turn signal). By engaging the turn signal the screen to the rear of the coach came back and everything returned to normal.
Didn't think too much about it.... thought perhaps a bad connection, but nothing more happened.
Recently I replaced the house batteries, and now have no image at all from b/u camera. Audio system is ok, and can get the 'Off' screen. No backup camera video at all.
The house battery replacement may be coincidental, but I am not the brightest bulb on the chandelier when it comes to electrical/video problems.
AVH-P5700DVD AV Reciever/DVD Player with 6.5" wide display is the unit I have.

Thought I would ask you folks before I begin tearing things apart!

Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated.

Do you still have the left-right turn signal display?

Go in to the set up menu for the radio/screen and reset the defaults. This is a common issue when the batteries have been disconnected.

Mikee...... You hit the nail on the head. Went to the menu/ settings/backup camera and apparently when the batteries were replaced (obviously power interruption) it defaulted to the off position. Switched it to 'on' and Bingo, everything works!

Thank you for your help. I love projects that end that way!!!!
