I have 3 TV's in my bought-in-May 2008 Allure 470 37'. I'm choosing DISH for satellite service. I'm installing a Trav'ler 1000 and 3 ViP 211z's. Since the 211z's will not record wo a USB-attached external hard drive, I'm buying 2 of them. I also bought 1 OTA DISH dongle to connect the OTA antenna to the 211z back in the bedroom. Since I don't want to have to point a remote control at a har-to-find infrared eye, I plan to buy an RF frequency receiver and wire and glue sensors to each receiver's IR eye.

My questions are now what?

If I want to watch a live show on one TV and a game on another, I assume no problem. Each receiver gets tuned in and the different coax leads from the Trav'ler do their thing. Same same if I want to record instead of watch. However, what if I want to watch something recorded up front back in the bedroom? Must I unplug and move the hard drive to the rear receiver?
Is there a way to make these 211z's record a show to their respective ext hard drives while I'm asleep or away from the coach? Is there a must-know answer about the 211's that I haven't asked?
