I just bought a Jeep Wangler to tow. It has the Blue Ox base plate on it. The RV has a Road master tow bar on it. Should I trade for a Blue Ox tow bar? Or should I get an adapter to go from Road master to Blue Ox? Not sure how good the adapter works.

Larry,
The adapters work fine. I have been using a Road Master Sterling setup to a Blue Ox base plate on my Acura MDX. No issue's at all. Definitely not worth buying a new tow bar. Works great.

Where did you find adapters?

You can get them on eBay or amazon.

I purchased the adapters at Camping World. Very simple conversion. As I recall it was one bolt on each leg of the tow bar. A quick Google shows them to be readily available from many sources including both Blue Ox and Roadmaster.
