To all CCO Group Members,

We must all remember that replies to messages are often read out of context. Words like "it" or "them" does not give a reader a clue as to what your reply applies to. The reader might need to search back a day or two to find what "it" refers to.

Examples:

Subject is "Towing a Ford Fusion and Escape" Reply is "Yes it is."

Another reply is: "I totally agree with Chris, [It is an] easy car to tow" Which or what car -- Fusion, Escape or some third brand, or model year?

Another reply is ".... I was told by the dealer here that it was standard at that time." Suggest "I was told by the dealer here (if important where is the dealer) that it (again what is it) was standard at that time (when 2011?).

Please give the reader of your replies a brief restatement of what your reply is referring to.
