Thanks for the info on the antenna. Bus Kote application should be based upon what the manufacturer recommends. (Not trying to cute with that comment, but call and talk with their tech support and ask any questions you have.)
That being said, I was told by the people that I had install our Bus Kote to do two thin coats vs say trying to get it done with one thick coat.
Prep is probably the single most important item on how successful this will be for you. Some only power wash and then apply. I'm of the school that felt having a bit of abrasion/scuffing of the roof, makes for a much more secure bond.
We also had some problems with the edges peeling back. Samples were pulled and sent to Bus Kote. The conclusion was that ours was applied in too hot of weather, and lots of humidity, causing insufficient curing between the first and second coats. The shop I was working with absorbed a 'redo' of the labor required to fix. I agreed to pay their actual costs for used materials of the correction. (Did not really need to, but I felt it was the fair thing to do. In fairness to the shop, the temps when they started to apply were well within the recommended range. An unusual shift in weather brought in much higher temps in the afternoon then had been forecasted.)
I did not put Bus Kote on the skylight (we have several Solar Panels on a rack mount that straddles the Skylight, so we have full shade), but I have known those that have with good results. (Do a search on Stan Canaris posts, I think he is a CC owner that covered his skylight.)
I did have out newly installed AC Covers coated with Bus Kote. I wanted white covers, and the shop owner and I figured the Bus Kote would do a good job of protecting the covers from UV. The coating could only help on keeping the unit a bit cooler.
Best of luck to you,
Smitty
