If your fan is above your LP cook top you will discover you have to remove the screen and clean it

periodically as well as crawl on the roof and clean the rubber gasket and the plastic cover. We always

run our fan while cooking to control the heat in the kitchen. Weve been out on the road 4 months and I

had to clean the fan a couple of weeks ago. Another issue we are facing right now is tree sap, Not only

polluting the fan when the lid is open but the entire roof. So I guess we'll get the coach washed at our

next a stop after the Holiday. TWI 2004 Intriguie 11731

The lids on my fans had started sticking when I read an article that indicated that some years back the supplier of seals for the lid had changed the formula for the rubber and they were now more prone to sticking and that Fantastic had a new source for the rubber seals. A couple of weeks back I got Fantastic to send me two new sets of seals at no charge but they did charge me $12 for shipping.
