What are the chances that my 2002 Allure has a hot water tank bypass? If it does, where might it be? For the first time ever, I may have to winterize this rig due to the sudden death of my husband. Still trying to decide what to do. I may sell, may downsize, may go South, or may winterize and do nothing at the moment.

Very sorry to hear of your loss.

Each of these coaches are a little different and discussing winterizing your coach without seeing would be very difficult.
Tell us where you are located and one us may come and help.

Mary, your '02 does not have a water heater bypass. Also condolences to you for your loss.

I guess I was a bit stressed when I posted my first question. I do have a working knowledge of this coach and I have been unable to find a water tank bypass - assuming that there might be one. The big book of diagrams that came with the coach do not show a bypass. And the places that previous coaches had one - I can't find anything. I'm sort of assuming that Country Coach did not install these as a routine thing.
I really don't trust either of the two relatively local RV shops - like, if I can't find the bypass, I don't expect them to either. So - what's another $25 of RV antifreeze to do the water heater also!!
Any further comments would be appreciated on my personal e-mail which is JimandMJBrown at aol dot com.

Thanks!
