Im having a problem with the passenger side heat. If I set control to passenger it goes full heat. I checked the control and it seems to be functioning but i cant find the control valve. I moved gen forward but not there. I do see hoses going up into the dash. I would not think the valve would be located behind the dash. Any ideas?

The temp sensor for the passenger side is probably failed.

The puzzling part is that the system works fine both ac and heat using the main control. When I push the over-ride switch to passenger on the dash it goes full heat . The passenger control works the fan but the temp is full hot on passenger side with ac on driver. Not really sure how the system works. Thanks for the input.

Did you set the passenger heat control knob to cold? I had the same problem and, until I figured out how it really worked, had an unhappy wife who was way too warm. Usually run with control on dash set to "driver's side"?.

Yes the passenger control is cold and the dash will blast pure heat if the override is switched. If I return control to the driver the heat goes away. I have narrowed it down to a relay that is in the override circuit or possible heater control valve. Most likely the relay but I need to find the location of these system components Rod.
