We are replacing all tires and have conflicting information on what size is required. We are the second owner of this coach with 12R on tag and drive and 31580R/22.5 on steer. The Manual states this is the correct sizes but the placard/sticker on the console(which is the legal information) states 12R/22.5 on tag, 315 80R/22.5 on drive and steer. We are concerned about whether there is enough room for the 31580R/22.5 on the drive due to fenders since this tire is a bit larger. We have also been told, whether this is true or not, that we should only have once size tire on the rear.

Country Coach Service Center does not have any information.....any ideas? Thanks

Coaches from that period, Magna and Affinity had 12R's on the drive and tag and 315's on the front. If

your tag wheels are mounted convex with the bulge out a 315 won't fit. If the tag wheels are mounted

concave they may fit. Duals depend on the size or width of the rims. with 9 inch rims the spacing is

wide enough the 315's will fit, with the 8.25, probably not. The only way to find out is to mount the

tires and take a look see. The Continentals HSL 1 will work with the 8.25 rim on my coach. I don't

know about the Michelin. Les schwab in JC mounted my 315's to check, other wise I would have stuck

with 12R's.
