Hello,
We are just buying a 2007 Intrigue Jubilee 530 and we have a question about the heated floor. Does it run only when plugged in to 50 amp service, on the generator, on house batteries, or on diesel? We're trying to understand if it will work when dry camping, and for how long.

Darrell and Marsha, our coach is a sister to yours, though not a twin. I haven't tried all the variations you listed but do know the floors will work on 50 AMP and generator. They would probably draw too much power to work on the house batteries alone, so the generator would be your only option when dry camping. Don't put rubber backed rugs on the floors as they trap heat and could do damage. We've use fabric rugs for years with no ill effect. Because of the heat issue we don't use the heat feature on if stopped and the slides are in, but that's just us.

Darrell and Marsha, the heated floor runs on 12V AC household current. So, only when either plugged in or running the generator.
The heated floor is fabulous by the way.

Thank you everyone for the responses. We just got the coach and it's in having some maintenance done so we can't look for physical clues for some of our questions.
We thought the floor was hydronic (water tubes) and ran on diesel as well as electricity. Evidently that isn't the case, and it's all electric.
The original invoice, under standard features, says "Diesel-fired hydronic central heating system (50,000 BTU) w/zone control.
Under Optional equipment it says "Radiant floor heating - galley / bath / living room" and also "All electric package".
It also has three roof air units that also serve as heat pumps.
If I understand correctly, the radiant floors REPLACED the diesel-fired hydronic system. Does this sound correct?

No, you have both. The floor heat is 120 volt ac.

Your coach has a diesel fired heating system that not only provides your domestic hot water (it is your water heater) and it also provides heat for your coach. Your heat pumps will heat the coach in cool weather but when it gets cold, you will love the heat from your hydro hot or aqua hot system. The diesel burner heats a boiler coolant that is circulated to several heat exchangers in your coach. The exchangers have fans that will move the heat along the floors. The same boiler coolant also transfers heat to your domestic water and you will have unlimited hot water. The heated floor system is a 120VAC electric system with separate thermostats/controls. So, you have both electrically heated floors and a hydronic system for your warm air heat and hot water.

No you should have both I set my floors at 90 degrees and unless it is below 40 outside they keep the MH nice then if I need it I turn on the Hydronic heat that works great the heat pumps are worthless below about 40 degrees
