Looks like I will need to replace my fuel lines on our 2000 Intrigue with 8.3 ISC Cummins. Is this something you can do yourself?
Do you take the old ones off and get the fittings installed on new lines?
How hard is it to reach the fittings on the top of the fuel tank? Do tanks need to be dropped or can you reach as they are?
Looking for comments from others that have done this and can provide info and maybe some hints on ways to make it as easy as possible.

Thanks

What is wrong with the fuel lines?

I replaced the Hurricane and generator fuel lines on my 03 Allure. Severely cracked and brittle where they were exposed to the elements at the fuel tank. I cut and access panel/hole on the forward wall of the FWD bay, right behind the fuel tank. You can barely reach the fittings with long arms. I also bought three foot long screw driver and needle nose at yard sale, which helped a little, but could have done the job without them. Also Hurricane runs smooth as silk for two years now, and probably dodged a bullet on generator.

Ray,

One of my fuel lines has a very small leak, not enough to see any dripping fuel but large enough to let air in which causes low fuel pressure when there is a higher demand for fuel (running up hills). I figure they are probably old enough now (2000 Intrigue) that this is a warning for me to replace them all so not left on the side of the road someday.
