Hi All,
I was thinking of installing a Steer Safe Steering Stabilizer on my 32' CC. (I have straight axles) to protect against front tire blowouts.
Has anyone installed this system or can advise me?
Thank you,
Randy 32 foot CC

Randy,
We had all kinds of issues with our coach wandering. We had steer safe installed at the factory along with ( I cannot rememberer ) and the wandering issue was finally solved.

We installed on 36' 98 Allure. Easy install maybe 2 hours, helped with wandering, peace of mind on a blowout. Cheap insurance.
Best of luck

I installed SteerSafe on my 2005 Inspire. It's made a big difference in handling/wandering. It is about a 2 hour job. I hope I never test the blowout feature but I'm glad it's there.

I ask this out a distinct lack of knowledge on the subject.
My belief, from posts years ago and some other RV folks, that steer safe was not only unnecessary but not desirable on independent front suspensions. Works like a charm on straight axle, but not of much value on IFS(?).
Take this as a question rather than statement . . .
