This is the first time for me to winterize the CC Intrigue. I drained the holding tanks and dumped the gray and black and then flushed them well. I used compressed air to blow out the hot and cold lines at 35 psi. I then added pink until I saw full color at all locations. I understand the washer/dryer, the 197 Samsung, the Headhunter toilet and the Aquahot. However, water pump still has water on the inlet side (at the inlet strainer screen) and I need to do something to keep the pump from freezing. I really do not want to dump pink in the holding tank but will unless someone can give me a better idea. The hose from the tank to the water pump is too short (about 8") and difficult to reach so I really do not want to try and remove it. Suggestions would be very appreciated since it appears Iowa will be getting colder next week.
Thanks

Run the pump to you hear spool up to high RPM you will know its dry, you can also run the pump while blowing air into the water receive receptacle and the air will spin the impeller and pump dry..
