My front tv has lost power. It did the same thing about a month ago but regained its power. Sounds like something is loose. I checked the rear of the tv and the plug is in tight. The other end goes off to the left out of sight. Does anyone know where the outlet is for the front tv so I can check that end also? Tom

Tom,

On my 2004 Inspire the 120 volt plug is located in the overhead component cabinet just above the drivers seat. Inside the cabinet you will find the 120 volt plug to the left side of the components.

don't forget if it's like my 06 Inspire that outlet won't have power while the unit is running. I plugged my TV into the box on the other side behind the cabinet so has power all the time. I say on the other side but it's really on the corner, I also needed to pull the panel above the door to access the outlet.

I have a 07 Allure and I can access the rear of my TV and plug from the the right side upper compartment that is next to the TV. I need to remove 4 screws that holds the panel in place and remove the panel. As usual all are different, so yours might be the same... or not.

The plug was in the cabinet to the right of the TV on my 2006 Allure (above the passenger seat). It had a junction box with a relay in it that cut power to the plug when in motion. It took me about 30 seconds to eliminate that! :-) You might want to check that first. I would also find a different plug/cord and power source to test the TV first (if you can find a cord with the same plug end).

Good Luck!

Thanks to all who responded. I did find the outlet behind the panel in the upper left cabinet. The plug had fallen out of the outlet. I can't believe this thing vibrates enough for a plug to come out. I have a feeling that whoever replaced this the original tv did a reach around to plug the new one in and blindly tried to get the plug in the outlet, only to get it in just far enough to turn on. It has worked for the 4 years we have had it, but eventually it had to come out.
