The entry door handle that is used to pull the door closed has striped the screw that holds the handle to the door. I am wondering  if a larger screw would grab what ever is in the door? I can't tell what is in the door as back up material without taking the door apart.

Yes, a larger screw can be used, just did it to mine. I took the old screw out, took the screw to the hdw store and got the next 2 sizes up. Turned out I used the next size up. I determined that the screw stripped because we used the handle to pull ourselves up into the coach.

The larger screw worked. Thanks
