Our 7 year old Sharp Aquos 37" TV in the front of the Allure has died. I am curious if anyone who has needed to replace one of these can recommend any particular TV's that fit the opening without modifications. We are in Myrtle Beach and will try to find a mobile RV repair tomorrow to do the swap but I will need to get a TV. I am hoping one of the flatter 40" to 42" TV's will fit the same space. As long as it covers the opening, it should be no problem.

Fortunately my extended warranty should cover all but a $200 deductible.

we replaced ours by measuring the width and locating a new TV that fit the width all the way to the edge of the old cabinet. The new TV's are more rectangle than square like the older TV's.
We had Alliance Coach in Wildwood FL cover the opening with plywood and flush mount the new TV. The new TV is a Samsung Smart TV.  I think it was a 32"  you can search for one online and it will provide the dimensions.
They then took the old frame, flipped it upside down and cut to fit the bottom of the opening. They then installed mesh to hide the opening and wires.

Lonnie, thanks. We will be on this trip thru Christmas and I suspect I am only going to find (in this area) someone who will merely be able to remove this TV and help me install one that will fit using the existing hardware and without custom cabinet work. I know that the more modern larger TV's will fit but suspect their width will cover the hole but not their height. I can deal with any opening left in the space when we get back home.

What an opportunity!  OMC put in a 46 in Samsung LED and all that was required was a new face frame. If you are a sports fan you will love it.

Gary, we just replaced our front 37 in. Sharp with a 46 in. Samsung Smart HD. & we also replaced the bedroom 32 in. with a 40 in Samsung Smart HD. We love them both, I had Holland Motors RV. in San Diego Ca. do the work. The front they had to take a small notch of wood out on each corner on the front set & the bedroom fit right in buy sticks out 1 in. around the cabinet. We love both, I also had them connect the front set to my surround sound that really is nice for football games etc.
