I am looking to install an omni directional roof antenna on my 2008 Intrigue. I am looking at the King Jack and the Wineguard 3035. Has anyone had good, bad or indifferent experience installing or reception concerns on either one of these antennas.

I have installed several Winegard Roadstars. They all work great.

In 2010 I installed a Motosat HD antenna along with a DirecTV dvr. I had to get DNS (distant Network Service) and receive New York local channels all over the country.
Last year I wanted to upgrade my dvr to a Genie for 5 channel recording and watching combinations along with an easier way to have the same capabilities in the bedroom. The Genie uses SWM (swim) technology which is a single wire. I was not able to get the motosat converted and decided even though it was working to replace it with a new wineguard swm antenna because motosat is out of business . I get great service everywhere I go. The bedroom tv is fed with a single wire installed along the roof to a small box (mini genie) then hooked to the tv via hdmi. The box is inside a cabinet but the rf remote works fine and the mini is fully functional. The antenna is fully automatic. Press a button on the controller and it raises and finds the best signal.
