I am in St. Louis and am having a problem retracting my drivers side slide.
Anyone out there know of a good technician in the St/ Louis area? Many thanks

We had problems with both our slides.  One thing to check is the large silver fuse near the motor in the slide. Kevin Waite found the fuses for us.  We carry an extra one now.

The other thing was we had intermittent slide problems and found loose wire connections in our electric bay, passenger side rear.

If you don't find someone in St Louis,  HWH is 4.5 hours north in Moscow IA.

Also, we have used Cummins Coach Care in Kansas City and were pleased with their work.

It turns out that my slide problem had nothing to do with the pump or HWH.
The problem was that the aft end of the driver's side front slide was getting stuck on the white plastic (silicone?) that the base rides up on. A small amount of grease solved the problem.
But ......... Why did this happen? The configuration at that spot is a little strange, and different from the forward end as well as both ends of the passenger slide.
Has anyone experienced any similar problems? Obviously these white silicone pieces encounter a huge amount of weight and stress.

Tom, not sure what model coach you have, but I have a friend that has a 2006 Intrigue that had those Plastic Ramps on his Slide fail and the the repair shop had Stainless Steel Ramps fabricated to solve his problem.

Not sure if your HWH  slide system and his are the same models, but they sound familiar.
