Jim,
I've got a Heart Interface, Model 1800-12, that is giving an error message. When I have the Master Battery switch - OFF, it looks like the inverter is still on and drains the house batteries. I have to climb into the forward passenger bay to actually turn the inverter off. Shouldn't it turn off when the Master Battery Switch is turned off? Got contact information so we can talk? Where are you located? We're north of LA about 60 miles in Rosamond, CA. We'll be heading to San Diego over Memorial day week after.

The inverter is not wired thru the battery switch. You can install one, but if not you need to keep turning it off at the inverter or disconnect the battery cables.

Remember the inverter is also your battery charger which is why it bypasses the disconnect switch. Just switch the inverter off when not needed.
