Greetings,

I have been monitoring this web site since I bought my 2006 Inspire this past Sept. and have learned a great deal and I am grateful to everyone for the knowledge and experience they have shared, however I keep realizing how little I know.
I was washing my MH when I came upon the three valves, one of which has a nipple attached that is the type used to  connect an air hose, they are located under the front of the coach on the drivers side. I looked through the manuals that I have but could not find anything about them so I have no idea what they are for. Any info about these will be much appreciated.
Thanks
George

George....The 3 valves are there to purge your air system.  The one with the nipple can be used to air up your tires. I open them on my coach once/month. If you air dryer is working OK, very little water, if any, escapes. If there is a lot of moisture when you purge, you may need to change the air dryer filter.

I have 2006 Allure 31432.  That nipple is a air line I believe.  To find female end remove nipple at take to Reily's.(auto parts store).  You my coach I have air pump for my tires.  Lots were sold by Schwab at CC rallies.

David.

I am not sure the last time these valves were open since I just bought the coach in Sept. The valve with the nipple which is closest to the passenger side put out several ounce of rusty water when I opened it the other 2 released relatively dry air.
Is the air dryer filter something I can change myself or should it be done by a repair shop? Thanks

George

Here is a 1 hour YouTube on a 05 Inspire 330 about the same as the 06 Inspire may help down the road.

If you have no records you should change the air dryer, hyd filters, trans filters and change the oil and filter around 5000mi along with the fuel filters because of the HEUI fuel system.

Depends on how much was lost, but if it is totally empty probably about 12  gallons.

I recently had Cummins Coach Care flush and replace coolant and was billed for 7 gallons of coolant...
