Title: New Country Coach wannabes

As new Country Coach wannabes, we have been eavesdropping on this forum for a while. This, as well as our visit to the factory this fall helped us to narrow down our dream coach to a 2007 36' Insprire Sienna (or a 36' Allure).
If anyone knows of such a rig with fairly low milage coming up for sale, we'd appreciate hearing from you.
We have been fulltiming for 13 years in a 34" Airstream and feel it is time to try a motor coach.

Safe travels,

Marie and Rainer

Would you consider a 40 ft 2007 inspire.

You guys are really going to make a life style change, like we did when we went from our 34' Limited Airstream to our 36 ft Allure in 98. .  It was a real change and we only had one slide.  If you have two or three you are going to be facing a real eye opening experience.  Just make sure the AV system is up to date, the owner has good maintenance records  of them following  recommended service intervals, and recently replaced tires..  TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731

I think you will be happy with your decision. My wife & I have a 2005 36' Inspire that we have been enjoying for several years.
Although we don't full time, it's a great way to travel and explore the country.

Yes. Tom Johnson Camping Center in Concord, NC had one a few months ago. A 2007 36' Inspire. It was near mint condition. Ask for Thomas Chapman. He was my salesman when I bought my Intrigue last year.

Thanks! We often camp in national parks, national forests etc. and want to stay small for that reason.

Yes, and we look forward to that change.
One thing we will miss though is the simplicity of the Airstream trailer and the low maintenance costs as our main expense has been changing tires every now and then.
Somehow though, these days, this gets rather quickly forgotten when we sit inside a country coach;) Marie and Rainer

Marie and Rainer,

We'll be welcoming you shortly I'm sure to our great blog here.  It's a wonderfully secure feeling knowing that when we do have a problem, just typing away and hitting "send" will most likely have one or more kind folks who know how to help responding.

We have a 40' 06 Inspire and love it!  We bought it new in April of 06 I think, and admire you for full-timing in a lovely and large Airstream.  We also have an Airstream, a 2010 23' long one, and though we love it, we're going to sell it as we  have just this week bought a Lance pickup camper.  My husband will not drive either the motorhome or tow the Airstream if there's a hint of snow or salt on the roads, and we need to get to MI from MN in the winter (still working folks) so this will solve that  problem.  You are going to enjoy a motorhome so much, as you already know!!  Congratulations when you do decide which one to buy.

The cost of owning a motor home can be quite substantial especially if you don't feel comfortable doing quite a bit of DIY maintenance, upgrades and repairs.

A quick look at RVT.com revealed 10 Country Coaches 2006 and newer under 38 feet. If you go older there are quite a few more.

Yes, it is still there. It appears to be rather expensive so we did not consider that. Good to hear that it is in near mint condition.

Thanks for the tip,

Thanks for the tip! We find that their info is not always current and it also shows coaches that were sold weeks ago-  one 07 unit was sold the day it first showed up on the RVT.com (http://RVT.com) and it is still there. I guess it takes time for them to update.
It is a journey:)

'07 Inspire at Tom Johnson

I believe it can be had for much less than the asking price. It was sold once to someone that bit off too much (size, not money). They made a bundle on that deal. If I was looking at that one for myself I'd offer 115. I bought my Intrigue for a little over half what they were asking.

Thanks for your encouragement, Britt! It certainly looks like a nice coach.
