Title: OUTSIDE VENT FOR MICROWAVE

Hi, has anyone vented their microwave to the out side, if so how did it workout. thanks Charles 2000 magna5886

Charles,

I haven't changed my vent but I have been considering doing it. If you do change yours I would be interested in reading your post on how it goes. It seems odd that CC would install a hood that re-circulates the smoke when even the cheapest campers vent outside.
The unit is designed to allow venting out the rear, so I think it would only require a short vent pipe, a quality external fitting and a proper hole in the wall. Takes a real man to cut a hole in his coach.

and of course there are those other little things.... make sure it does not leak and of course getting it painted to match the rest of the exterior... cause if I decided to do it, it sure would end up in a position where 3 strips come together and cost me more in paint modification, then the whole thing put together.
