Merry Christmas Eve Everyone,

Since I'm a newbie I'm just hoping I'm missing something and don't have a problem on my hands. I have an 04 Allure Astoria 40' I purchased this past October #31026 and have yet to be able to actually use it. We live in Upstate NY and it went into storage in November. I parked it and turned off the main batter switch in the rear and had been going over weekly to plug in into the nearest outlet and let it charge for the day, but always turn on the batter switch forst. Yesterday I went over and did the same thing as always except this time its been about 3 weeks and a few snow storms later since I was able to plug it back in. I turned the switch to the on position and plugged it in. I heard the loud thunk that usually happens after I plug it in and this time the clock came on the microwave, the panel on the Bose lit up but nothing on the inverter panel. No indication of charging, not a single light or message on the panel. Left it plugged in all night but nothing at all. Any thoughts or suggestions?

My guess is that your "Power Transfer" switch may have failed. With labor, may be $250 +-...Probably need a coach electrical tech to check & install a new one if that is the problem.

When my transfer switch failed it was just the board inside the upper LH corner of the switch , replaced for 35.00. Barrie Boas 94 Concept 5111

Michael,

While plugged into Shore Power locate your Inverter probably located in your Battery Bay above the Batteries is a panel to take off.

You'll find a small WHITE Button that's a Fuse Button push it in and at same time look to see that the 2 Toggle Levers are in the ON position.

You said that you "... turned off the main batter switch in the rear..."  the "rear"  battery switch on my coach is for the engine battery.  My "main batery switch" for the house batteries in located up front by the entry door on the left side.  So,  my theory is your"main (hoise) battery switch"  was never turned off and was discharging from "phantom"  electrical draws which eventually drew the voltage down too far probably far below 12 volts,  which may be confusing your inverter.  Check the voltage on you house batteries.
