Some days ago a member commented about his experience with the Dyson C59. We bit the costly bullet and found one on ebay for $350 (retail $499). Tried it today and were absolutely amazed. We keep our coach super clean but that Dyson pulled dirt and pet hair out of the carpet that we just could not believe. I mean in just a few minutes we had to empty the canister twice. Amazing. A side benefit is that it stores so much easier than the big thing we have been lugging around. If the quality lasts it will be will worth the bucks.

That is great to hear you like it so much!  By chance did you buy it from volere_bene on ebay?

No, I bought it from someone called wahsahbeeps3. Price included shipping also.

Ok.  Just curious we sell dyson also.  With that being said if any fellow CC owners want one, we would be happy to give you a great price.  Thanks.

Lyle

I recommend you buy an extra filter. You wash it in water. When I do that I like to have a spare to pop in so I can use or put the vac away while I'm waiting on the filter to dry. I bought mine from Dyson, but based on the price you got on your DC 59, you can find a better deal.

We have an older Dyson cordless. We find it did a good job, but now with a long hair (whom enjoys dropping said hair) - this older model is not up to the job. We were looking into the Motorhead.

We'd be interested in a Motorhead, what kind of price are you talking about?

TIA, and best to all,

By the way, that should have read 'now with a long hair dog'.

My wife had always had long hair, but does not drop too much:)!
