We Stay in Las Vegas several time a year when around the Arizona/Nevada area. End up parking at the Thousand Trails on Boulder Highway. I had the original windshields in the coach, needless to say they had a bunch of rock chips and small cracks. Always got them repaired so they didn't run. Knew that we would need a windshield one day and ran into Mike Wilkinson of RV Windshields at the park. I talked to him and a number of the folks that had him replace theirs. He received favorable comments from everyone. One fellow had his replaced a second time by Mike (another rock) and said the first job was first rate.
Well coming out of Prescott this year I caught rocks on both windshields, the drivers cracked clear to the edge and the passengers about 12', right where I looked out. Called Mike gave the information on the coach and he said he'd have a windshield when we arrived in LV and He'd worked with our Insurance company before, should be no problems.
Luckily we have vanishing deductible and it was at zero. Called it in, got the claim number and called Mike. Needed a couple of days because of the weather. Showed up around 11 and was done by 1:30. He coulda finished earlier but we talked Rv'Ing and I probably slowed him down. Looks great, He was easy to work with. We've had some rain and it didn't leak. Very pleased with him and his work. Would use him again in a heartbeat.
Another note, our Insurance is National Interstate. Super easy to work with, got the closing statement in a few days, assumed they paid Mike right away, he likes them from what he said. I've hung with them for a long time even though the Insurance Agency has offered other companies at lower cost (really not that much lower). But from what I've read form other folks with more serious claims, they are a good company, so why change for a few bucks.
