All,

Considering purchasing an 07-09 Affinity/Magna, interested in any comments regarding CC's technical support or customer service.  Does CC have any after business hours Tech Support? We previously owned an 03 Intrigue First Avenue from 05 to 07.
Sincerely,
Reese Cantrell

CC does provide tech support from their factory in Junction City but I don't believe it is available after hours. Also, I believe they do charge for it (at least some of it).

There is other excellent support available including tech support and parts from Kevin Waite, a former CC employee who has his own RV repair business in Junction City.

Like all CC if you can buy a coach with the pre 08 engines without the DEF filter you'll get more consistent operation and can run on almost any diesel  fuel in Western Hemisphere.  That said I have had 3 loads of fuel in the past 5 years with water contamination.  1 from Fred Meyer on the coast of Oregon, 1 from Flying J at the California Border on I-10 and one from a  Petro here in El Paso.  So I carry extra filters now all the time.  We had thought about buying a new coach in 08, but were warned by some of the old time employees not to do so.

There are any number of service personnel and companies to choose from.  I use  Premier Motor coach service center in Tucson the most now and  Oregon Motor Coach Service center in Junction City as my total service center as they have connections through out the Eugene area for any repair.  The guys at Northwest Cummins in Cohburg are really sharp, informative, and really take care of the customer if you have engine and genset issues.  There are individual mechanics and coach specialists in the area to choose from also.  Though Chris Snyder has moved on from CC in Junction City he has always been my number 1 guy to go to for any help as he serviced both my coaches for over 15 years.  Eric is Second at Premier in Tucson.

For sure you want to join one of the regional  CC owners groups.  They will keep you informed about which people in your area will give you the best service.  I belong to The Country Coach Friends group  and the Country Coach Texans group, news letters inform us about our favorite service techs that we have known for years as they once worked for the factory.  I don't want to speak ill of the current CC, but Ron Lee just rubs me the wrong way.  He is trying to accomplish a very difficult task at the moment with CC, and I wish him much success.  He has a lot of great people working for him that have done great work building and servicing our coaches while they were with the original company and I wish them all well, too.  TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731

we have owned a Country Coach Allure since 2005 and have never had to take our coach to the factory for service. We did stop by there when we were in Oregon and had them check the ride height and got the specs for that.  Since we live in Florida, we use local RV Techs,  Cummins Coach Care for engine etc, a local heavy duty truck chassis shop for air bags, alignment, etc;  Speedco for oil changes, and we did go to HWH factory for leveling system repair. For satellite work we go to Houston TX and have Sats2Go (satellite "guru") work on our satellite system. For Hydro Hot (Aqua Hot) service we contact an authorized service facility or we contact Roger Berke at www.rvhydronicrepair.com (http://www.rvhydronicrepair.com)  .For parts we contact Kevin Waite who monitors this forum. He is awesome!!  We also had Kevin do some work for us a couple of times while we were in Oregon. Most of what we have fixed has not been specific to Country Coach but add on aftermarket stuff like refrigerators and air conditioners. We have put over 120,000 miles on our coach in 9 years, we have full timed in it for almost 6 years, and love it!  (and it's only a 33' with 2 slides!)

I have a 2007 Affinity for sale.  Doesn't have 20k miles on it yet.  Average price is $400k.  I'm selling for $260k due to a change in my life.

Let me know if you are interested.
