Hi all, we have a 2000 magna with a problem on the door. We were told when we bought the coach that the door was aluminium and thier was soom oxide goin on under paint. Only fix was to replace door skin with fiberglass, has anyone had this happen thanks charles 5886

I was the owner of CC Affinity #5851. As you describe...  the same problem happened to us. Taking it to a fiberglass specialty shop it was stripped and repainted. That happened in year 2 of our ownership. We never had any further trouble selling 8 years later.  I recall CC used the wrong primer sealer base coat on a series of doors getting ready for color coat. That came direct from CC warranty dept back then.

CC covered total cost of repair.

Who ever told you that is the only fix is wrong. A professional shop would have no trouble with the repair or paint match with the project.
