Just found out, that we have water damage around the shower dome. I cleaned and sealed the dome on the roof but what can be done inside? Has somebody experience and how it was repaired?

I'm sure, some of our members have already replaced the skylight above the shower. (Inspire, Allure) Is there a special manufacturer where you can buy directly and that can be recomended??

Are you wanting to replace the skylite or the ceiling material? I had to replace my ceiling in Driver Side slide. Kevin Waite sent the material.

Tom, I have to replace the sky light and have damage in the ceiling around the shower.
Do we have to remove the panel section between the sliding door upper frame and the center of the hallway ceiling? We were always sealing around the sky light flange but the problem was a crack in the sky light himself.
In full sunshine the crack was close to invisible because of the extension of the acrylic material.
But we had a lot of permanent light rain in very low temperature during the last month and the crack became wider.

Hermann,
On our leaking skylight, I don't think it does any good to seal the inside, as the water has already gotten through. With our skylight I painted it with the Buskote others have used to paint there roofs with. I also used the buskote products to seal the edges of the skylight. My leak has not returned in 4 years. We also did not have a cracked skylight.
As far as replacing the ceiling I only had to do it in the slide not the bathroom. It is quite a project. If the main ceiling is anything like the slide you also have to remove a hard paper backer that the ceiling material is glued to than replace that. I used 1/4" Luan. Than you have to buy special spray adhesive to glue the new material up with. I also would remove as much as possible things that touch the ceiling. Medicine cabinet, trim etc I am not sure how the seam strips work as I did not have any in the slide ceiling.
