Any suggestions for a nice clean campground with full hookup and large pull thrus in or very near Knoxville?  Any camping at the fairgrounds in Knoxville?  Thank you!

Unfortunately not much in the area and we've been up there many times.

31 miles to the east in Dandridge TN is Anchor Down RV Resort.
We usually stay in Sevierville TN at River Plantation. (26 miles away)

Raccoon Valley RV (Escapees) park in Heiskell would be a good choice except they have construction right now updating the park.

Don't think there is a campground at the fairgrounds.  You could call them and ask about hookups.

Anchor Down gets my vote. Beautiful new campground with super lake view.

you are so welcome.  We did stay at Volunteer Campground in Heskell twice but it's very tight and an older campground.  If it's tight with our 33'  rig, anything larger is more tricky.  There is also a KOA north of there that gets "iffy" reviews and is down a windy road.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunately had to postpone the trip to Knoxville, but will keep this info for when we go this summer!
