We have a 32 foot 99 intrigue and when it's under 45 degrees outside it cuts off after starting and running till it gets heat in the engine three or four times. It will start right up and idles great in between cutoffs. It also has a maintenance light on till it warms up and doesn't cut off anymore.

I was having a somewhat similar problems on my 2000 Affinity. When it  was cold it would start fine then a few seconds later I would start getting an  alarm for low hydraulic fluid then it would die. But it would start right  back up and after 3 or 4 times it would keep running. It wasn't low on  Hydraulic fluid. I finally figured out the Coach was wired wrong from the  factory. It was actually a little low on engine coolant. A half a  gallon of coolant later no more problems.
I would check your coolant level.

Most likely some light fuel jelling. Kinda odd for this warm  temp. I would change the fuel filters and see if the issue goes away.

If it turns out to be jelling you might want to upgrade to Racor filter with heating elements.  I had a Oldsmodile  and a F-350 with a 7.3 liter diesel that required the heated filter for successful operation in cold weather.  I haven't had the issues with my Dodges or CC motor homes.  TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731

First thing I would do is check the level of coolant. You should be able to see coolant in the sight level glass. Low coolant will give the exact indication and act just like your coach with the shut down, restart, shutdown, restart, etc. Been there done that.

Fuel will not gel at 45 degrees.

Its not fuel jelling, and it has all new filters in it. I didn't know if these engines had a coolant temp sensor in them that causes the engine to shut off if the water temp is to low. Im going to check the coolant level this am before I start it, and see if thats the culprit........We are actually taking it to country coach tomorrow for the 200 dollar check over while we are in Oregon. Ill ask them if they've ever heard of such a thing, and if not Ill drive over to the cummins dealer if it persists

Hi John, we did the cc $200 deal a couple months back, it was a great deal and cc were great to work with. I would reccomend it to anyone, we are headed to silverleaf in may for a few changes.
