IF YOU HAVE FREE AIRLINE MILES, OR EVEN IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES, PLEASE GO TO THIS WEBSITE AND DONATE SOME MILES:

www.heromiles.com (http://www.heromiles.com/)
This site is the result of a Senator who negotiated with many airlines to allow individual Americans to donate their free airline miles to the troops so that those troops coming home from Irag don't have to pay airfare to get from one coast to another after they land here.
Did you know??? Our troops, coming home from Irag for the holiday, have to pay their own airfare to get to their home State once they land in one of the three major bases in the US? YES -- They are dying for us -- and our Country doesn't even pay for all their airfare to get home! SAD! PLEASE PASS THIS ON and please help.

Your heart is certainly in the right place but maybe your plea isn't.
Motohomers usually don't fly very much. I didn't know about this so I sure am glad you posted it. I will pass this on to people I know that do fly a lot. Maybe others in the group can think of other places to post this. jerry in NM, '00 Magna.

I'm not sure where you have been all your life...but the US Govt NEVER HAS paid for transportation for a soldier to come home ON LEAVE !

---I think it's a great idea to donate free airline miles to GI's on leave. But, I think you are wrong to criticize the US Govt. for not paying the tab. There has never been a war that the govt. even allowed soldiers to come home during a conflict except for an emergency. I served in Vietman and was allowed an R&R leave to Japan, Hong Kong or Austrailia IF my unit could afford the time.
Nobody went to the mainland USA. These guys in Iraq are very lucky to get a shot at coming to the US on leave.

Hi to all, please know that I personally did not write the email...I just cut and pasted it. I sent it to the group because I thought it was a good cause and I thought members on our site might like to donate some miles or pass it on to others. We donated miles because we felt it was a way to say thank you to those who are trying to keep our great coumtries freedom. To all of you who served previously, THANK YOU. I did not mean to start a comtroversy. God Bless and Happy Holidays, Candace

Guess I'm in the doghouse too, for posting "A Little Humor" a few messages ago.

That's the problem with these Yahoo boards, all message threads get lumped together. I've been thinking about setting up a better message board, where we could post on various topics. I think that format is much better, especially for folks looking for help on a specific topic or system. You can drill right down to relevent information quickly.

I would vote for Fred Kovol to be overseer of ANYTHING to do with electrical.
