We have a 2007 Tribute 260. The driver side front slide started out and stopped after about 5 inches. It appears to be not getting power. Open for ideas since we need to be out of here soon.
Is they a way to move the slide in without power? What needs to be disconnected and the reconnected?
Thank you in advance.

If you haven't got it fixed. The control module and motor is located in the large compartment. There are two fuses on the module on a standard 20amp and the other one a resitable 15amp. If the 20amp is not blown the 15 will reset in about 30 seconds. If that doesn't work you can swap out the two controllers to get the slide in. On the controllers the two relays are rated at 40amps so that is not the problem. Other than the two fuses those controllers are hard to destroy, so don't spend the money to replace. There is a problem with the slide. Try greasing the gears. Hope this helps. Been ther done that with my slides. Still trying to find what is hanging up on the DSS

Chuck,
If you have access to a large pipe wrench (I used a 14" pile wrench) you can move the slide in and out using the wrench on the the square tube in the large bay with the help with pushing. Are you sure you have not broken a shear bolt? This is an easy fix if you have a few tools. I have done the many times. If I can help call me 480-625-1140.

If your slide is not in yet, you can release the brake on the motor then take a large wrench and turn the black square tubing and the slide will come in. May take a cheater for better leverage. After slide is in, put the brake back on to keep the slide from coming out while going down the road.
