We'll be leaving Southern AZ in a couple of weeks, returning to Oregon. I thought it might be nice to go home a different route. I know I'm OK on Hwy 191 from I-10 to I-40, but I'm unsure about the next portion of that road. Have any of you taken that route. Any concerns?

I've been on most of that section of 191 and it's a fine 2 lane road. Not much in the way of towns, but there is a little traffic.

Thank you so much! It's great to know we won't be stuck on a road too small or windy for our bus.

It you are ok with 191 to Moab -- you might (after a day or two in Moab)
Take it on up to I70 -- then I70W to just west of Green River (also a good fuel stop)
Tape HWY 6 (no bad grades -- following canyons) to I15 just so. of Provo, UT.
Take I15 to I84 in ID. And then on west to Columbia river and west to Portland, OR.
Any questions - let me know.

Have been on some of the highways that Jim mentions, those stretches were nice driving...
Have safe travels....
