Hi,

I'm trying to install my Dish receiver and the Living Room tv is HD with an HDMI outlet but I can't figure out how to get access to it.  We have an 05 Inspire 330 that has an LG tv that is over the dash.

Any input would be great.

Thanks,
Lauren

You remove the rear lower cover behind the tv. Next you remove the panels on the sides of the upper cabinets right of the tv. Note the order you remove as there a snug fit and need to go back in the same location. If I remember right the hinges need to come off to get clearance for the panels. All come apart in about 15 minutes. Once you have acces to the front there is a chase over the door to send wires to the equipment cabinet.

Lauren,

I'm not sure what the layout of your Inspire is but here is what I did with the same issue in my 04 Intrigue. Assuming you have a panel over the entry door and that your Dish receiver is aft of that, drill a hole in the bulkhead between those two compartments. Remove the panel over the door to gain access to that compartment. Then feed a metal measuring tape from that compartment around the front corner and across the top and behind the TV. Attach your HDMI cable to the tape measure and pull it back towards the over the door compartment. Then through the hole you drilled and into the receiver compartment. You may prefer to tape a string to the tape measure and pull it through and then reverse the process with the HDMI cable. Your layout may not allow this exact approach but the point is that the metal tape measure is quite flexible and will bend around corners so you may be able to feed it where you need the HDMI cable to go. Good luck.
