My 2008 Allure with a tag came with an instruction booklet on how to set the TPMS and screen.  I noticed it has a way to display the wheels of a vehicle in tow.  I didn't care then because I haven't been towing.  My question is how does it do that?

My Jeeps' sensors will out a high frequency signal peculiar to that model of sensor.  Does the CC system just learn that signal and add it to the other signal received from the coachs' wheels?  Do I need to find out somehow the frequency of the coach system and tune or buy sensors for my Jeep that match?

(FWIW: my Jeep wheels are oversize off-road things that are still apart; so, I can put almost any sensor in them I need to.)
