Has anyone experienced this one? Both rear tabs that attach the shocks to the frame have broken loose at the welds. Anything special or sensitive that needs to be considered or can a reliable truck shop handle the repair?

we haven't experienced that but we did have the right front u-bracket break and a truck suspension shop in Tampa FL fabricated 2 new ones. They have also replaced our shocks, bushings and air bags.

Yes same thing happened to me a few years back. I believe it happened to me when I leveled in such a way that the rear axle was hanging for the weekend. Regardless no big deal, re-weld the studs on or make new ones and weld them on.
