Stupid question :-(

Where do you all put the counter covers when you take them off so that they are out of the way and safe?

On our 06 Inspire 360, the storage for our sink covers (assuming you mean sink) is under our stove, directly attached to the "roof" of that storage area.  And now I'm questioning myself.  That's probably for the storage of the stove covers.  Maybe it's for  all of them.  Our coach isn't here right now or I'd run out and look.

On my 2005 Da Vinci we use the space between the refer and the sink, you are referring to the sink covers. We place them on the wood piece that is below the mirror. On ours they sit there out of the way. Just be sure you replace them on the sink before you move in the slide.

We slide ours next to the refrigerator. Btw the fridge and the cabinet that holds the sink. Ours is an 05 Inspire Davinci.

On our Inspire all four of the counter covers fit inside the cabinet below the cook top. There are mounting places along the top of the cabinet on the left and right that they slide into. Works very well.

My 2004 Intrigue Ovation has a storage cabinet specifically for the covers.

We keep our sink covers in our sticks & bricks garage. The stove top counter top used to slide into a large angled cabinet to the right side of the overall countertop. But we put a shelf in this space to add more under cabinet storage space. We now rest the counter top behind a chair, resting against the extended slide wall. We have a small rag folded, that we place under the stovetop countertop, to keep it from rattling while driving. This cloth is used to rest the edge of the countertop from scaring the wood edge.

We've looked into adding a slot under the stovetop counter, but prefer to retain the headroom for that shelf.

Best to all,

Smitty

Our 01 magna actually has a cabinet for them, but our 99 intrigue we slid the sink covers next to the couch, and the stove cover next to the fridge

That extra headroom is a good idea, Smitty.  Thanks! Best to all too!

Thank you all.  For those of you with a storage slot in the cupboard - would one of you mind sending me a photo.  I really like that idea and might have to put that on the honey do list  :-)

Thanks Jock,  That is where I have been putting them, and I was worried that I would forget.  I thought maybe there was a designated space (built specifically for this) and I just haven't found it yet

CC did not add a shelf for the sink covers until 2006. Don't know why. In 2006 they added a shelf under the stove top.

Thank you for that effort, Barney.  I'd forgotten that ours is the same, and that's where the stove top covers go too.  Amazing!  We don't use the stove very much since we bought a great cooker called the Ninja 3 or 4 in one cooker.  You were very nice to do  that for us, Barney.  Mary Frederick 06 Inspire 51784
