I would like to know what URLs you use when planning a trip. I had 2 very good URLs - had not used them for about 6 months - CPU crashed and I lost them.
What I am looking for are sites where RVers review Rvparks, that give locations, campground info, "Google Maps", etc.

I use Google Maps for the route and put in stops based on miles we want to travel in a day. Then I use Woodalls to locate campgrounds within 25-50 miles of the stop. What I like about Woodalls is being able to search by miles and then for amenities like Big Rigs or pull throughs. I do not use the Woodall ratings! ..
Once I make the final choice, I go back to Google Maps, put in the address and look at the park on "earth" view and zoom in to see the entrance, sites, trees, etc. I always double check the Google Map directions against the campground website directions to be sure it's the best way to get there. Once that's all done, I use CoPilot app on my iphone as a GPS. I know it sounds like a lot of work but I enjoy the planning part of the trip. Sometimes we make reservations, other times we call ahead on our way and arrive early. We usually make note of an alternative if our first choice is full. My just released Rvers Best Campgrounds Kindle Version (see http://www.rvbestcampgrounds.com/), with 800+ selected Public Campgrounds across the US, has s to both the campground websites and Google Maps (to locate the entrance). If you use an IPad then definitely try Allstays. Very comprehensive national map of all types of campgrounds with easy links to RVPark reviews and contact information for every campground. Very useful app.

Allstays works on Android as well and it is my go-to app. I also use Rvparky, which is free. It isn't as complete ad Allstays overall, but it will occasionally have something that All stays doesn't have. Darrell and Marsha2007 Intrigue 12075

I actually use the trip planning tool through our Good Sams Club membership. Once I have the route sort of mapped out, I can overlay public, private and good sams campgrounds. From there, I will check many of the websites or apps others have mentioned to get reviews, etc. I find the good sams tool doesn't have all of the campgrounds listed, so will also use Ultimate Campgrounds as that has more of the county parks, and recreation.gov to check COE parks. You can also overlay camping world stores, pilot J's, landmarks, etc. so gives us some additional things that we can do in the area.

Look at a website RV TRIP WIZARD for trip planning and RV parks along your chosen route.
I think well worth the annual charge of less than $40.
