We have a coolant leak. So far not major. (knock on wood). Just had pressure check done and the tech says may be leaking at the gaskets between the side tanks and radiator. Won't know until they remove the radiator.
For those that have had the radiator removed can you give us an idea of how many hours of labor to remove and re-install? They are saying 1 full day to remove and 1 full day to replace. 16 hours labor for removal and re-installation seems excessive for a side radiator.

I think we had 20 hours of labor the 2nd time. The 1st time it was 28 hours because they learned on ours that first time. To us, 16 hours sounds really good.

Lonnie,
That is all my warranty company would allow for the R & R of the radiator.

Lonny, on my 2003 Allure 1st Ave. 40', the labor hours were 20 this is with coach on a lift. Remove from the bottom the Radiator/CAC/Oil Cooler sandwich, drain coolant and hydraulic oil, replace same, including new Boots and Clamps and some hoses.

Sixteen hours labor is what I was charged on my 2005 Inspire.
Sound about right.

I have seen Dave Remington at OMC remove mine and put it in in a total of 5.6 hours under warranty, when they found in addition the CAC radiator was bad, but he has had practice and it wasn't his fault. The first time he saw the coach where some else had worked on the coach and he had to fix their screw ups it took almost 7.5 hours. It took the guys in Fairfield Susuin north of San Francisco over 10 hours because they didn't have a lift and had to do it over a pit using a hoist. That didn't make me happy.
