Our zone 2 thermostat wasn't working for the hydro-hot, air conditioner, etc. RV repair facility decided we needed a new thermostat and new circuit boards. They ordered them. We delivered the coach on Monday and it was suppose to be done this afternoon. Nope - one of the service people told us they still couldn't get zone 2 to work. We are frustrated. Any advice to pass along to the RV repair facility? We are suppose to leave on a two month trip on FRIDAY!

I have an 2006 cc 42' Allure with an Aqua hot HEE-200-09E and #2 Zone doesn't work for heat. Zone #2 is for AC and heat pump only not Aqua Hot system. As for why your AC isn't working not sure but first check the voltage coming into the coach.  If you have too low of voltage your AC / heat pump will not start. We were at a park just a month ago and they had low voltage and the coaches on our row the AC heat wouldn't come on. Hope this helps.

I just had the exact problem.  My zone 2 quit working.  Replacement of the circuit board on the zone 2 A/C solved the problem.

If the zone 2 is not showing on the thermostat, a reset of the thermostat may solve the problem.  On mine, zone 2 reappeared after a reset but still did not work.

Make sure they have set the dip switches correctly on the replacement circuit board.

Good luck.

Had a similar problem recently with my Comfort Control unit. It turned out to be a bad ballast in one of our fluorescent light fixtures interfering with control signals to the ac/heat pump units (and to the inverter). Turned the offending light off and everything operated as normal.
It also cleared up some unexplained interference with the grab bar lights, backup monitor interference and who knows what else!
The only time we used that particular light was when the rig was in the shop and extra light was need inside. It took an experienced tech several hours of troubleshooting to finally come up with the diagnosis.
We've since refitted several of our Thin-light fluorescent fixtures with LED replacement tubes (which don't require the ballast).
