My friend had the exact same problem.  Camping World changed out the rear A/C, and it still didn't work. My friend and I did a continuity check on the phone cable that runs from the front A/C to the rear and found one of the small wires was open (broken some where).  To check it out we ran a temporary cable from the front to the back and the rear A/C worked perfectly.  To do a permanent repair, we took off both inside covers and pushed a 25 foot tape measure through the vent from the front to the rear, then we attached the new phone cable to the tape measure with duct tape and pulled the new cable through the vent to the front A/C.  We put new connectors on the phone cable (please consult you owners manual, because you have to reverse one of the connectors), connected it up and put the inside covers on and everything worked fine. We did cut off the connectors from the old phone line and taped the ends.
