Here is a question for CC folks who live in the Idaho area.  We are traveling from Salt Lake City on I-84 to the Boise area.  We are going to McCall but we are undecided whether to take US 95 or US 55 to McCall. We are a 40' Country Coach Intrigue towing a 2012 CR-V. Which road is better? Safer?  What would you suggest?

Shirley,

In June 2013 we used 95 to Spokane, WA. Easy drive. We thought of using 55 but decided on 95.We are 40' plus tow.

It's been a couple of years for us but 95 has always been a good road and good choice.

We've driven 95 from Grangeville to the southern part of Idaho and loved it!  The beauty of that road makes it one of our top routes to repeat.  Ours is a 40 foot, and we tow a Buick Enclave.
