Lee, you are a good detective, but now we all have to have that bad deja vu feeling.

Interesting...We were there the other day, and walked inside of The owners coach, which they said they are using to build the prototype Allure for next year. No mention of this at all. I'll try to drive by tomorrow and see if there is a sign out.

May be a way to free up capital for building new coaches. We have heard for a couple years that is what, lack of capital or investor, holding up building new coaches.

Suggest you be low key about all this as the folks there are working through all this. So let's respect that though no denying the ad is out there.

Lee and the Group,
That is very interesting information to turn up and a very sharp eye spotted it, nice going. Obviously, this is public information so it is hard to believe they are hiding anything.
I have found in the past that many companies have all their assets tied up in their facilities and/or closely held properties. In that case it is not unusual to sell the property (all or partial) and do a lease-back to gain working capital. Risky, but its done. If that is the case and I am not saying it is, is does indicate a continued considerable commitment to the business.
The easy way, is to just bail out, and that could be the case also. There are just are several possibilities we shall see ? Maybe some additional information will come out. The information I have heard is, they have been reasonably busy lately.

Didn't CC declare bankruptcy? If so, didn't the properties revert to the company (bank) owning the mortgage? And if that is true, wouldn't any defaulted property be for sale by the mortgage holder, and not CC? Would it be incorrect to assume that the present CC actually purchased from the mortgage holder the property it now uses and nothing else?
Just wondering.

Instead of speculating if someone wants to know just call them and ask them.........its better to know the truth then to just assume

Some speculate that Ron Lee is selling the property to raise cash with the intent of leasing it back, which would make sense.

The Bankrupcy Referee put everything up for auction to satisfy the many unpaid creditors. There were more than a few bidders. The founder, Ron Lee, outbid everyone. Supposedly, he was the only one among them who wanted to keep everything together at that site. So, he or his financiers do own the property, parts inventory, equipment, logo, and name.
This is sad if all ends up being sold because we orphans wouldn't even have an orphanage.

He owned the property and was one of the creditors due to back rent that was owed. Property did not transfer with the company he always owned it.

I thought Bob Lee was the Founder, are you saying Ron Lee was the "real" Founder?

This reply is not helpful at all.
I was not speculating or assuming anything, but merely asking for information that very well may not be associated with CC, and if it is not, why would CC even care to respond? Perhaps you did not carefully read how I phrased my post.
Now, since I do not wish to go to the relevant district bankruptcy court (I am really not that interested), I am merely repeating the questions I offered, as quoted below. There are no speculations or assumptions in those questions, but simply a request for information, if any factual data are available on this list.
It appears to me that the CC bankruptcy caused animosity between the supporters of one of the brothers and supporters of the other. I am a "Johnny-come-lately" to this discussion, as I didn't even buy my (used 2004) CC until 2009, so I don't really care about appearing to support one over the other. Who was that TV character that said, "Just the facts, ma'am?"

I asked CC in a private message about the For Sale listing and if that meant they were throwing in the towel. The reply from CC was, "Not a Chance, read next Thursday's Destinations."

What the devil does this mean, and why was the message not signed? Only when you search the headers do you find the originator of the message. Who is gossiping about what? Good grief, Charlie Brown, is there some sort of cabal at play here?
