We purchased a 1998 Intrigue about three years ago. I did a search about the problem with snaking on the SI-Ge windows but might have missed the answer that I was looking for. Is it possible for a glass shop to actually repair the windows by removing, tearing down, cleaning and resealing them or is replacement the only option?
Thank you for your responses

I had 3 windows done in January using the same glass. The trick is to not let them get too far gone. The dirt inside can etch the glass and then you'll need to replace the glass.

We are in the same boat, the snaking is not that bad in the back of the coach but around the drivers side window and door its starting to look pretty bad. Let us know it goes and where you brought it for repairs.

John, it is very easy to have the windows repaired. All we need to know is where you are so someone can recommend a shop in your area.
I can recommend Dave Root who is based out of Bend, OR http://daverootrvglassrepair.com/ (http://daverootrvglassrepair.com/)
I have windows repaired by him and recommend his service.

We also had several of our windows done by Dave Root in Bend, OR. Did an excellent job. He is down in Arizona in the winter. I understand that there is also a good company in Alabama or Florida that do a great job at a good price. Name of the place escapes me right now. I think that I found them doing a Google search for "window creep" and also read about them in one of the many forums that I read.

Hi John.
You don't say what area you are in, but I have the same "seal creep" problem with the windows in my 1998 Intrigue, and I had the two worst ones - the driver's window and the one in the door - replaced in Minnesota by "eGlass Service" http://www.eglassservice.com (http://www.eglassservice.com/) last month.
They had new class custom cut and tinted, used a 'solid' seal material (which cannot creep) between panes, and replaced each window on site at my house for a total of $250 per window. They did say the more rearward windows would be slightly more expensive because of the special tint, but I plan to have those done also as their creeping seals get worse.
Highly recommended for a glass shop in MN. Ask for Steve.

PS: I just met someone else here in MN who has a 98 Intrigue and he has exactly the same problem with his windows too. There was a recall on them way back when, and he had replacement class shipped to him but has yet to install it. The owner of my coach never got the replacement glass before CC went under.

I assume that window snaking is the same as seal creep. You can repair them yourself They are not that hard to repair but are labor intense. I repaired 8 windows for$500.00. All materials and instructions can be obtained from Dave Root. He has a website for your viewing.ygtg Fritz 1998Allure 30223

I've been searching the same problem. Where do you live? There is a place in Florida, Arkansas, Oregon. So some good options.

Premier RV in Junction City can do it. We were there last week on the way to the FMCA rally in North Bend.

I used Dave Root RV glass repair on two coaches with good results. Cheaper then most at the time and he gives a warrantee.

I live 60 miles west of Chicago. I apologize for not stating that earlier. It's good to know that it can be repaired. Hopefully there is someone in my area.
Thank you everyone for your help. It is greatly appreciated.
