We have a new (to us) 2000 cc affinity. It has a reservoir that has a cap that says hydro Craft on it. The tank also has a gauge on it similar to a thermometer, can anyone tell me if this is the hydraulic reservoir, what it is for and what is the best fluid to put in it. Thank you for your help.

Ron,
If that tank is in the right rear compartment, it's an auxiliary engine oil reservoir. It holds a gallon of engine oil. If you're in need to add engine oil, there is a toggle switch that engages a small pump that pumps oil into the crankcase. The glass tube that looks like a thermometer, is calibrated in quarts, each line is a quart. I keep mine full, and have changed the oil out but in 15 years I have never used it.
