We were boarded by Canadian Customs agent 6 weeks ago who made us leave the coach while they snooped around. The sliding wardrobe doors in the bedroom have always been pretty hard to slide and so we have always used the metal edge of the doors to open and close the closet because we never trusted those flimsy glass/mirror handles. We had one handle come off completely the very first time we opened the wardrobe when we first got the coach many years ago. At that time we replaced the whole handle back then and have never used the handles since. But the Customs folks must have crawled across the bed and opened the wardrobe using the handle and what has happened is that the vertical handle bar came off. It was obviously glued to the two short horizontal posts that stick out from the mirrored base. Nothing is broken but the vertical handle separated at the glue points. My question is - what would be the recommended adhesive, glue, or epoxy to reattach the handle to the posts? Thanks, Steve 2002 Intrigue #11382

My suggestion is to go to a glass shop that deals with acrylics and ask them, I have used crazy glue on the little knob on the medicine cabinet and it has held, so fat.

Jeff ... thanks for the reply about using 2-part clear epoxy to reattach the handle on our wardrobe door. I'll give that a try.
