Hard to describe where it pools but if you take off the air filter / inspection cover and put your hand up the front of it and feel in the front of the unit, it will have a significant amount. When it gets too full, it leaks onto the carpet.
I got the usual blow off letter from Dometic that says there is a air leak:
Thank you for contacting Dometic! Condensation build up is only cause by an air leak. Some things that could cause an air leak would be duct work not sealed correctly, the roof gasket not sealed correctly, etc. It is recommended that you contact a Dometic dealer to have your unit serviced for this issue.
I'm sure that this is a manufacturing defect and many of you have seen this. I have tried wrapping the coils that go into the unit with a/c cork tape with no help. Anyone have a solution? Dometic Heat Pump 630515

I had that problem (ac dripping on the carpet) and it turned out to be crack ac drip pans. Once replaced, all was good.
